MAESTROS, WORKSHOP

MAESTROS

Fernando Galera is a versatile dancer with roots in folklore, classical ballet and modern contemporary dance. However, his passion eventually led him to tango, where he learned the craft from the best teachers in Buenos Aires, including greats such as Juan Carlos Copes, Miguel Balmaceda and Gustavo Naveira.

His impressive career includes the honour of being a jury member at the first World Championships, as well as the opportunity to accompany top-class orchestras with his dance. Fernando has travelled to over 50 countries to share his knowledge in numerous workshops and seminars. He is particularly known for his masterful dancing in the traditional milonguero style of the 40s and 50s, on which he has conducted in-depth research. His dedication and passion for tango make him an inspiring figure in the dance world.

Pamela Colaneri Dancer and Actress with more than 20 years of study and 13 of experience. She started dancing folklore from a very young age, she was 5 years old, and after a while, her life path led her to the artistic.

Since 2022, they have decided to develop a couple with their style, respecting their strong base in the evolved Tango and using all the information they have recovered over the years.

Teaching method

In our class, we work on technical pedagogical elements for the dance couple. Understanding that it is a social and couple dance… With technique and appeal to interpretive pedagogical elements and exercises, understand the meaning, knowing the history of the movements… with the idea of ​​a true encounter with each other.

During the vacation, we offer a daily 1.5-hour workshop. In the evenings, we visit local milongas, where you can immerse yourself in the tango scene.

Additionally, private lessons are available.

DAY 1. THURSDAY (22. May)

Nestled in the heart of Padova’s charming historic centre, this inviting restaurant offers an irresistible taste of Italy. Savour mouthwatering, wood-fired pizzas with perfectly crisp crusts, crafted from scratch and topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. From rich, savoury sauces to aromatic herbs, every bite captures the essence of authentic Italian tradition.

DAY 2. FRIDAY (23.May)

14:00 – 16:00 Walking tour in Padova 1. with a private tour guide – Wander around Prato della Valle, one of Europe’s largest and most stunning squares, and step inside the impressive Saint Anthony’s Basilica. Visit the legendary Tomb of Antenore, explore the charming courtyards of the historic University of Padova, and finish your tour with a well-deserved break at the iconic Caffè Pedrocchi—perfect for soaking up the local atmosphere with a coffee or a refreshing drink.

DAY 3. SATURDAY (24.May)

Join us for a VIP tour of a beautiful historical Italian villa, guided by the family’s descendants. Discover how noble families lived in the past as you walk through elegant rooms filled with original paintings and antique furniture. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating family stories that bring history to life. After the tour, sit back and enjoy some delicious local wines and traditional snacks, all served with the warm hospitality of the family. It’s a relaxed, fun way to step back in time and experience authentic Italian charm.

DAY 4. SUNDAY (25.May)

14:30 – 16:30 Walking tour in Padova 2. with a private guide –  Discover the stunning Scrovegni Chapel, famous for Giotto’s breathtaking frescoes, and visit the beautiful Padua Cathedral, a place rich in history and charm. It’s a perfect way to experience the city’s art, culture, and timeless atmosphere.

19:30 – 23:00 Practilonga with the Maestros and local dancers

DAY 5. MONDAY (26. May)

13:00 – 14:30 Farewell Brunch In the heart of Padua, La Prosciutteria celebrates Tuscan excellence with a menu full of generous platters, fragrant schiacciatas and a selection of wines from over 140 labels. 

17:00 – 19:00 Relaxation in a thermal bath. 

The bath is located in one of the most interesting points of the Euganean Hills Natural Park, between Montegrotto and  Abano Terme. The bath is creating a regenerating oasis of tranquillity that predisposes to well-being and relaxation. It has the deepest pool in the world with a surface of 21x18m and a maximum depth of 40m. You can bathe in the panoramic indoor pool, surrounded by glass or go outside, without leaving the water, and let yourself be tickled by the myriad of bubbles of the hydromassage and water games such as the cervical waterfalls. The third swimming pool, external, is accessible via a comfortable staircase overlooking the most beautiful setting that the lush nature of the Euganean Hills can offer and is kept at a slightly lower temperature throughout the year.

Payment

Please transfer the 50% advance payment within one week after booking or latest by the end of the registration. The rest of the amount is to be paid upon arrival. The price of the program is indicated on the website in Euro currency and NET rate.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees:

In case of forced cancellation of the holiday by the organisation or by the hotel:

– refund of the total amount minus 25€ pp for administrative and insurance costs.

Cancellation by participants:

– 4 weeks before the arrival 100% of the pre-payment – minus our commission and actual expenses – of the ordered services we agree to return. A bank transfer fee and 25 EURO administration fee are charged to the guest. 

– Between 4 weeks and 14 days before the arrival of 50% of the pre-payment – minus our commission and actual expenses – of the ordered services we agree to return. A bank transfer fee and 25 EURO administration fee are charged to the guest. 

– From 14 days before arrival 0% of the prepayment of the ordered services we agree to return.

No-show: In case of a no-show, 100% of the whole period (the total cost of the package) will be charged.

Guest liabilities: In case of damage or loss in the Tango2Vacation’s partner’s property (hotel, restaurants, taxi service etc), the guest shall be held liable for the damage, if the damage has been incurred due to the conduct of the guest.

– after the start of the vacation: the full amount is due unless a last-minute replacement is found.

Expenses due to cancellation of the guest (illness, cancelled flights etc) are to be covered by the guest’s travel insurance, not by Tango2Vacation.
