For your full dance experience, we guarantee you a suitable dance partner to enter the workshops & milongas ( approximately an hour).

MAESTROS, WORKSHOP

MAESTROS

Fernando Galera is a versatile dancer with roots in folklore, classical ballet and modern contemporary dance. However, his passion eventually led him to tango, where he learned the craft from the best teachers in Buenos Aires, including greats such as Juan Carlos Copes, Miguel Balmaceda and Gustavo Naveira.

His impressive career includes the honour of being a jury member at the first World Championships, as well as the opportunity to accompany top-class orchestras with his dance. Fernando has travelled to over 50 countries to share his knowledge in numerous workshops and seminars. He is particularly known for his masterful dancing in the traditional milonguero style of the 40s and 50s, on which he has conducted in-depth research. His dedication and passion for tango make him an inspiring figure in the dance world.

Pamela Colaneri Dancer and Actress with more than 20 years of study and 13 of experience. She started dancing folklore from a very young age, she was 5 years old, and after a while, her life path led her to the artistic.

Since 2022, they have decided to develop a couple with their style, respecting their strong base in the evolved Tango and using all the information they have recovered over the years.

Teaching method

In our class, we work on technical pedagogical elements for the dance couple. Understanding that it is a social and couple dance… With technique and appeal to interpretive pedagogical elements and exercises, understand the meaning, knowing the history of the movements… with the idea of ​​a true encounter with each other.

During the vacation, we offer a daily 1.5-hour workshop. In the evenings, we visit local milongas, where you can immerse yourself in the tango scene.

Additionally, private lessons are available.

DAY 1. WEDNESDAY (30.April)

Welcome dinner

In the heart of the historic centre of Cagliari, in Viale Regina one of the most renowned trattorias in the city. Specializing in typical Sardinian cuisine and offering a wide choice of both seafood and meat dishes 

 

DAY 2. THURSDAY (01.May)

Attending to the Festa di Sant’Efisio by a local guide. This event is one of Sardinia’s most important and vibrant religious festivals, celebrated annually in Cagliari. The festival features colourful parades, with participants dressed in traditional Sardinian costumes, and decorated floats making their way through the streets of the city. The celebration is marked by traditional music, dances, and feasts, offering a deep insight into Sardinian culture, religious devotion, and history.

Bus Tour to Su Nuraxi di Barumini with a private guide

The Barumini complex, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is considered the best and most complete example of this remarkable form of prehistoric architecture.  Visiting this place is like travelling back in time to the second millennium BC when it was inhabited by the Nuragic civilisation that still today remains shrouded in mystery. The Su Nuraxi nuraghe consisted of a massive central tower of three chambers connected by a spiral staircase, originally over 18.5 metres high.

At the end of the tour, we’ll enjoy a picnic featuring traditional cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and fine wine.

DAY 5. SUNDAY (04 May)

Devil’s Saddle Boat Tour & Prosecco Picnic

“Set sail on an unforgettable journey along Cagliari’s stunning coastline! Glide past Cala Bernat and Cala Mosca beneath the iconic S. Elia lighthouse, then head to the secluded Cala Fighera, known for its nudist beach. Continue to the Gasole Pools, passing the mesmerizing Cave of the Doves and the legendary Devil’s Face. At the final stop, raise a toast to this incredible adventure.

If the sea and wind conditions allow it without compromising safety the stages described will be respected otherwise the skipper will decide to do less or to do them in different places.

Farewell Dinner – eat where tradition and passion meet in the heart of Cagliari’s Marina district. Meat specialities!

Please transfer the 50% advance payment within one week after booking or latest by the end of the registration. The rest of the amount is to be paid upon arrival. The price of the program is indicated on the website in Euro currency and NET rate.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees:

In case of forced cancellation of the holiday by the organisation or by the hotel:

– refund of the total amount minus 25€ pp for administrative and insurance costs.

Cancellation by participants:

– 4 weeks before the arrival 100% of the pre-payment – minus our commission and actual expenses – of the ordered services we agree to return. A bank transfer fee and 25 EURO administration fee are charged to the guest. 

– From 14 days before arrival 0% of the prepayment of the ordered services we agree to return.

No-show: In case of a no-show, 100% of the whole period (the total cost of the package) will be charged.

Guest liabilities: In case of damage or loss in the Tango2Vacation’s partner’s property (hotel, restaurants, taxi service etc), the guest shall be held liable for the damage, if the damage has been incurred due to the conduct of the guest.

– after the start of the vacation: the full amount is due unless a last-minute replacement is found.

Expenses due to cancellation (illness, cancelled flights etc) are to be covered by the guest’s travel insurance, not Tango2Vacation.
